These Centuria End of Trip facilities needed to provide better, purpose-built amenities to support people who bike, jog or walk to work, and for those who exercise during their lunch time.
The space needed to provide for storage of bikes and other items, and allow for people to refresh and change in inviting surroundings. An existing parking lot of the building had already been redesignated to accommodate these facilities.
The exposed ceilings and the diagonal bulkheads are the main features in this project. We opted to leave the ceiling exposed and played with colours and integrated fixtures that together create a pleasant experience, entirely removing any sense of being in a car park.
Washrooms and change areas were fitted out with a blend of natural, warm materials, supported by light colours and tones to help users feel connected and welcomed.
