Sony embraces the power of play throughout their product suite, and we wanted to embody this in the built form.
Successfully creating a workplace that reflects the nature of the brand is what makes this project a stand-out within its category. By exploring the different types of play in the workplace, we were able to introduce various types of mediums to engage and delight the audience, and bring to life the themes of wonder, innovation, flexibility and excellence that are so strongly ingrained in the Sony name.
Through the use of vibrant and playful colour schemes that mirror the four bold colours associated with Sony, movable furniture that invites creativity and flexibility and niche areas that showcase brand paraphernalia and collectibles, we created a space that encourages innovation and interaction and brings the Sony and PlayStation brands to life.
